10 Reasons President Uchtdorf is Cooler Than Me (and You)


1. First name: Dieter
2. Flies jets.
3. Escaped from East Germany at 11 years old. With his Mom. On foot.
4. Gives consistently awesome talks in General Conference. Take your pick.
5. Ridiculously great hair.
6. Self-deprecating sense of humor.
7. Can read the list of callings and releases without butchering all the names.
8. Awesome German accent. (Sometimes sounds like Hans Gruber)
9. Is an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  6. I love this post!!! During conference my five-year-old son, Charlie, wanted to color a picture of Pres. Uchtdorf from a printout I gave him...a little while later, we looked down and Charlie had made President Uchtdorf into Frankenstein. Yet another reason why he's super cool-he can look just like my kids very favorite monster!

  26. Did you hear about his talk in the Regional Conference for Davis County? There was a mention of someone falling asleep in church and he said, Cchurch sleep is one of the healthiest." My husband has made that his mantra.

    That just makes him even cooler!
