"I Didn't (want to) Know That!" #10

Top 10 list of rules and counsel that we didn't know, or like to pretend we didn't know.

It is not OK to have a "Movie Night" for Mutual 
(Unless it is a Church-owned movie.  Nope - not even Disney/Pixar.)

Besides, if you are showing movies for Mutual, or any other meeting, then you probably don’t understand your calling – or are just lazy.  Time is precious.  Don't waste it!
Exception:  Original "Johnny Lingo."

  1. I keep telling this to some leaders here in my Branch but they just won't listen!! I wonder what they'd say if Pres Monson mentioned that during General Conference. Probably something like "It's not a commandment,it's only an advice".

  2. Another pet peeve. Thankfully I haven't seen much of it lately. BUT, I didn't even know that the church addressed copyright laws as a reason! Good to know!

    Thanks for this list. It was fun to read and I've used up a lot of my morning reading through it. I should probably be productive now, but I'll probably just read some more of your posts. Its Friday! Thats my excuse. :-)
